Our Community
The Old Library
We are delighted to support The Old Library in Skircoat Green. The Library was reopened in April 2024 and is run by a team of dedicated volunteers. The school had a non-uniform day to raise funds for the Library, which they used towards redecoration costs.
Every child at All Saints' has a card for The Old Library and we visit often to read for pleasure and support this fantastic local resource.
Intergenerational Bowling in Skircoat Green
The Year 4 children have been learning how to play Crown Green Bowls as part of their Curriculum. We love meeting people from our community and using the recreational facilities in Skircoat Green.
All Saints’ Choir – Let Your Voice Shine!
At All Saints’, our school choir is a place where children truly shine. All Saints’ Choir is a vibrant and welcoming after-school club where pupils come together to share their love of music and express themselves through song.
Our choir performs a joyful mix of traditional and contemporary songs, and we enhance our performances with a variety of instruments – but our most powerful instrument is always our voices!
This year, our talented singers have proudly performed at school celebration assemblies, brought joy to residents at a local care home, lifted spirits at Calderdale Royal Hospital, and shared our love of music with the community at The Piece Hall. We were also thrilled to take part in a Calderdale choir competition, showcasing our enthusiasm and teamwork.
In All Saints’ Choir, we believe in singing as one – using our voices to bring happiness, build confidence, and make a difference.
